Frequently Asked Questions

How does PhysioLogix stand out?
PhysioLogix Sports Physical Therapy, PLLC blends the worlds of rehabilitation and performance. We’ve rehabbed and trained professional and D1 college athletes as well as everyday clients who simply want to move better and live without pain. Every session is one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist — never double-booked — and every plan is tailored to your specific goals and limitations.

We now proudly offer in-home physical therapy across Texas, bringing clinical-level care directly to your living room. This means no travel, no waiting rooms — just focused, personalized rehab designed around your environment and daily routines. We accept most major insurances, including Medicare.

What is your typical process for working with a new patient?
Every new inquiry starts with a quick phone call to ensure that your needs and our services are a great fit. Once confirmed, our team will collect your insurance details and perform a benefits verification call to outline your exact coverage. After reviewing this with you, we’ll schedule your initial in-home or telehealth examination, where your therapist will evaluate movement, balance, and strength, then create a personalized plan of care.

What advice would you give someone looking to hire a Physical Therapist?
If you want the best possible care, look for 1-on-1 physical therapy. Many clinics double or triple-book patients, which limits attention and results. With PhysioLogix, every session is fully dedicated to you, ensuring faster recovery and lasting results.
Whether you’re recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or preventing falls, one-on-one PT is the highest level of care and the true standard of modern physiotherapy.

Do you provide in-home physical therapy for seniors?
Yes — in fact, that’s one of our specialties. We work with older adults across Texas to restore balance, mobility, and confidence in daily life. Our in-home physical therapy for seniors helps reduce fall risk, improve strength, and maintain independence. Because sessions take place in your home, your therapist can assess real-world challenges — stairs, rugs, furniture setup — and adapt your program for safety and comfort.

Can I use my Medicare or insurance for in-home therapy?
Absolutely. PhysioLogix accepts Medicare and most major insurance plans for in-home and telehealth physical therapy. Our team will verify your benefits before your first appointment so you know exactly what’s covered and what to expect. For patients with Medicare, we handle all documentation and coordination with your physician for a seamless experience.

How soon can I start physical therapy after my doctor recommends it?
In most cases, you can start within a few days. Texas allows direct access to physical therapy, meaning you don’t always need a doctor’s referral to begin. If your insurance or Medicare plan requires one, we’ll help you coordinate with your physician to avoid any delays. Our goal is to help you start moving — safely and effectively — as soon as possible.

What areas do you serve?
PhysioLogix provides in-home physical therapy throughout major Texas communities, including the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. We also offer telehealth sessions statewide. Every visit brings expert, personalized rehab directly to your home for convenience, comfort, and faster results.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With any inquiry we receive, PhysioLogix PT will first see if the patient is a good fit for our practice. This is to ensure that the patient needs and the therapist's service are perfectly suited. If a match, PhsyioLogix will gladly accept your insurance information and perform a benefits call in order to see exactly what we can expect for reimbursement from your health insurance company. After relating this information to the patient and discussing what to expect from future appointments, we can schedule out the initial examination.
